Alisher Navoi is one of the great figures who had a great influence on the formation of the spiritual world of our people. Today, Navoi’s work can become an important source for developing in the hearts of young people a sense of national pride, self-awareness, beauty and sophistication.
On the occasion of the birthday of the poet, thinker, statesman Nizamiddin Mir Alisher Navoi, on February 9, 2023, in the Syrdarya Regional Information and Library Center, the team of the Syrdarya branch of the state institution “National Institute of Metrology of Uzbekistan” held a discussion “Do you know about Alisher Navoi?” competition was held.
First, the competition was opened by N. Mamadzhanova, head of the sector of cultural education and youth work, and gave interesting information about Mir Alisher Navoi. After that, the participants of the competition completed test questions on the computer, prepared by the employees of the sector of the halls of electronic resources and their use. These test questions about the life and work of the poet Alisher Navoi, and employees of the Syrdarya branch of the state institution “National Institute of Metrology of Uzbekistan” consolidated their knowledge in the process of solving the test.
At the end of the test, the following results were announced;
1st place – Obid Otabaev
2nd place – Ilkhom Rakhmatullaev
3rd place – Akmal Abdurazakov
7 participants took part in the competition.
